STONE: Picture Jasper on Floating Bail
METAL(S): Rhodium/mixed metals (not suitable for nickel allergies)
LENGTH: Medium (bustline)
CHAIN AND CLOSURE: Lobster claw closure on a ball chain
FUN FACTS:
As a true jasper, it's a type of chalcedony; opaque layers of quartzified petrified mud and/or silicate. The "mountains" that you see are the various layers of crystalized sediment!
This variety of jasper is found all over the world, but this desert landscape variety is from Oregon (close to MY home!).
