Pyrite is known as "Fool's Gold," as it can easily be mistaken for the precious mineral. Chalcopyrite is fool's fool's gold because it can be mistaken for pyrite AND gold!
Chalcopyrite is a mineral found in many sulfur deposits and is full of COPPER (not gold! I know. Confusing!). It's a hugely important copper ore.
